Celica

Terms of Service

  • Effective date: 12 October 2026
  • Version: 1.0
  • Applies to: the Celica bot as operated by the Punishing: Gray Raven Discord Community Team inside the community servers it operates.

These terms govern use of the Celica Discord bot (“Celica”, “the bot”). They apply to anyone who operates, configures, or interacts with Celica.

Celica is operated by Punishing: Gray Raven Discord Community Team.

What Celica is

Celica is an internal Discord bot for running giveaways on the Punishing: Gray Raven Discord Community Team’s community server(s). It provides three functions:

  • Entry Submissions — accepting entry submissions from community members.
  • Winner Selection — letting staff pick winners from the server’s member list, from the entry pool, or from message authors in a chosen channel.
  • Server Configuration — letting staff configure which channels the bot posts in, which roles to exclude from rolls, and whether members may submit multiple entries.

The underlying platform is Discord, and Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply to all use of Discord and therefore to all use of Celica. Use of Discord’s APIs, which the bot uses, is governed by Discord’s Developer Policy and the Discord Developer Terms of Service.

Who can operate the bot

Only members of the Punishing: Gray Raven Discord Community Team’s community server(s) who hold the Discord “Manage Server” permission can run Celica’s giveaway-management functions or change its configuration. These members are referred to below as operators. Celica is not offered to the public.

General community members are not granted direct access to the bot’s operator functionality and cannot configure, run rolls, or change settings on their own initiative. This document is not an invitation to request that access.

Community members can submit giveaway entries using the bot’s entry-submission function. By doing so, they agree that the data they submit will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Celica may be used only for managing giveaways on the Punishing: Gray Raven Discord Community Team’s own community server(s). Use of the bot must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service, Discord’s Community Guidelines, Discord’s Developer Policy, the Discord Developer Terms of Service, and all applicable laws.

The following are not permitted:

  • Running giveaways outside the community team community server(s).
  • Using the bot to harass, target, or discriminate against any user.
  • Using the bot to collect data about individuals for any purpose other than running the giveaway it was collected for.
  • Reselling, relicensing, or otherwise commercializing any data the bot collects.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or otherwise attempting to derive the bot’s source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  • Interfering with the bot’s operation, attempting to bypass its security or rate limits, or using it in any way that poses a security risk to Discord, its users, or any third party.

Service providers

The operator may engage service providers (such as an error-monitoring provider) to operate Celica. Such service providers are required to process API Data only at the operator’s direction and in compliance with the Discord Developer Terms of Service.

Availability

Celica is provided on an as-available basis. Punishing: Gray Raven Discord Community Team does not guarantee uptime, response time, or that any particular feature will continue to be available. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without liability. Discord’s own availability, rate limits, and other platform restrictions apply at all times and are outside Punishing: Gray Raven Discord Community Team’s control.

Termination of access

An operator’s authorization to operate Celica may be revoked at any time, with or without notice. Common reasons include the operator no longer holding “Manage Server” permission, leaving the community team, or a violation of these terms.

Community members’ interactions with the bot may also be curtailed at any time — for example, by an operator adding the member to the bot’s list of excluded roles, or by Celica being removed from the server. The bot can be removed from a server by anyone with “Manage Server” permission, which immediately stops the bot from receiving events in that server.

Punishing: Gray Raven Discord Community Team may also stop operating Celica altogether, in which case the bot will go offline and stop responding.

In addition, the operator’s right to use the Discord APIs is governed by the Discord Developer Terms of Service; Discord may terminate or limit that right at any time. If that happens, the operator will stop using the APIs and delete any cached or stored API Data as required by the Developer Terms.

Liability

Celica is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, and without warranty that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Punishing: Gray Raven Discord Community Team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the bot, including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Reporting issues

Issues or violations relating to Celica may be reported using the contact address below. The operator will review reports and take appropriate action.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of the file. Continued use of the bot after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
