These terms govern the use of this bot, which is operated by the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Global Team as internal tooling for the MLBB Global Discord server and any affiliated servers the team operates.
What this bot is
This is a Discord bot for moderation, ban-appeal processing, member management, message logging, staff activity tracking, and internal staff tooling. It is not a public or self-serve bot. It is installed only on servers operated by the MLBB Global Team, and the team decides what to install it on.
Who may use this bot
Only authorized staff of the MLBB Global Team may operate this bot. Authorized staff include the team’s moderators, leads, and admins, as configured by team leadership inside Discord on a per-server basis.
General community members of the MLBB Global Discord server are not granted direct access to the bot’s commands and features. Where a non-staff member’s data is processed by the bot (for example, when a ban appeal is filed, when a message in a logged channel is edited or deleted, or when a member reacts with a tracked emoji), that processing is described in the bot’s Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Authorized staff must use the bot only for the purposes it is designed for and only in accordance with the team’s moderation policies and Discord’s rules.
Prohibited use includes, without limitation:
- Using the bot’s commands to take action against a member outside the scope of an active moderation case.
- Using the bot to access, modify, or delete data for any reason other than a legitimate staff function.
- Using owner-only or admin-only commands without authorization.
- Attempting to extract data from the bot by abusing its features or by any technical means.
- Reselling, licensing, or otherwise commercializing data obtained through the bot.
- Using the bot in any way that violates Discord’s Terms of Service, Discord’s Community Guidelines, or Discord’s Developer Policy.
The team’s leadership may add or remove authorized staff at any time.
Availability
The bot is provided as-is. The team does not guarantee that the bot will be available at any particular time, that any feature will continue to exist in its current form, or that the bot will be error-free. Features may be added, changed, or removed without notice. The bot may be taken offline for maintenance or for any other reason.
Termination
The MLBB Global Team may revoke an authorized staff member’s permission to use the bot at any time and for any reason. The bot may be removed from any server at the discretion of that server’s owner or by the MLBB Global Team. Removal of the bot does not by itself delete the data the bot has stored; see the Privacy Policy for how deletion requests are handled.
If Discord takes enforcement action against the bot or its developer account, the team’s access to the bot may end without notice.
Liability
The bot is provided without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the MLBB Global Team and its contributors are not liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from the use of, the inability to use, or the unavailability of the bot. This includes, without limitation, lost data, moderation actions taken in reliance on the bot’s output, and the actions of any user of a server the bot is installed on.
The bot is a tool used by human moderators. It does not replace the team’s moderation policies, and the team remains responsible for all moderation decisions.
Governing rules
Use of Discord itself is governed by Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. The operation of this bot is governed by Discord’s Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy. All authorized staff must follow those documents in addition to these terms.
Changes to these terms
The team may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in the MLBB Global Discord server.
